ABOUT US When you shop at Modern Times, you're going to have fun. We treat you like our best friend. We only have two priorities: 1. For you to look great and 2. to LOVE what you buy. The more you tell us about yourself, the more we can help and we love actually getting to know our customers. Modern Times has been a Chapel Hill staple for 28 years. Hillary Fisher, owner of Modern Times, bought the store 6 years ago when she left the corporate world. As a mom of two (one teenager), she understands women in all phases of life -- from graduation to marriage to kids and beyond. She handpicks everything in the store with all aspects of every woman's life in mind.
